Our Heat shrink Product line provides a state of the art method for the application of a tight thick walled, protective covering to items that will be subjected to the extremes of heat, corrosion, shock, moisture, and other critical environmental conditions.

 

Nu-Tech offers a broad line of heat shrinkable molded products that allow you to enclose harnesses quickly. A heat shrinkable molded part combines the advantages of quick installation, easily repairable, environmental resistance and requires no special molds or fixtures.

 

Our Nu-Tech products are comprised of semi-rigid and flexible flame retarded polyolefin materials conforming to MIL-I-81765/1A and are available in a variety of sizes and geometric shapes.  A commercial grade polyolefin material is also available for commercial or utility type applications.

 

 

PROPERTIES

 

Nu-Tech  heat shrinkable products are manufactured from specially formulated compounds allowing these materials to exhibit several unique characteristics:

 

  •        Fast shrinkage upon application of heat above 120° C
  •        Flame retardant
  •        Good dielectric properties
  •        Superior  cut through and abrasion resistance
  •     Possesses excellent oil, chemical and solvent resistance
